Comedy Invasion
: Calvert Alliance Against Substance Abusewill hold Comedy Invasion to benefit Project Graduation at 8 p.m. Friday, March 10th, at Calvert High School. The event will feature Ralph Harris and Bengt Washburn. Tickets cost $30 in advance, $40 at the door, $20 for CAASA members or students aged 13-18. Tickets can be purchased at the CAASA office in Prince Frederick, Floral Expressions in Huntingtown, Gentle Family Dentistry in Dunkirk or Lotus Kitchen in Solomons. Garden Smarter:
 Saturday, March 11th from 10:00-11:30am. What benefits do herbs provide to us and our gardens? This introduction to the kitchen garden will also discuss how to solve pest problems in an environmentally safe manner (Integrated Pest Management). Country Dance

 OnSaturday, March 11th, for a fun time, come to the American Legion Country Dance in the Upper Level Ballroom at the American Legion Stallings-Williams Post 206 at 3330 Chesapeake Beach Road E on Route 260 in Chesapeake Beach. If you can't dance, teachers will be available to give instruction. One hour lessons commence at 7:00 p.m. followed by dancing from 8:00 p.m. until midnight.  Sunday, March 12th, 1:00 p.m.- 4:00 p.m. at Annmarie Scuplture Garden & Arts Center. Preschool children and their caretakers are invited to visit the artLAB for hands-on investigations and challenges! Each session will help children explore, observe, ask questions, and make predicitions about the world around them as they create and play.  We'll investigate a variety of concepts in STEAM -science, technology, engineering, art, and math!
