Farm to Table Breakfast & Barnyard Sale: Join the Calvert County Farm Bureau and Calvert County Young Farmers on Saturday, March 25th 7-10:30 a.m. for a country breakfast made with local meats, eggs and so much more! Taste of Solomons: A one-day food festival showcasing the many wonderful places to eat in this lovely waterfront community. Saturday, March 25th from 11 a.m.-4 p.m.. Tickets are $4 each and may be purchased at any of the 20 participating businesses. Event supports the Solomons July 4th fireworks. Historic Prince Frederick Stroll: Welcome spring and revisit local history Saturday, March 25th by joining the Calvert County Historical Society, Project ECHO and the “Ready, Set, Exercise Calvert! Couch to 5K Campaign” for an invigorating stroll through the county seat. The 25 to 30-minute stroll will start at the Historical Society’s office in Prince Frederick at 10 am and make key stops at Saint Paul’s Episcopal Church, the Phillips House, the watershed near the old library, with its wildlife markers and Kings Park. The public is welcome to join in the walk. The Calvert Artists’ Guild was founded in 1978 to promote the appreciation and practice of fine arts and crafts in Calvert County. Location: Southern Maryland Sailing Association, Solomons. Adulting 101: Saturday, March 25th and Monday, March 26th from 1 p.m.-4 p.m. each day. Teens will learn about financial responsibility, healthy cooking and eating habits, fitness, responsible social media use, and time management. Free. Location: Prince Frederick Library. Make a Toy Boat: Saturday, March 25th from 2 p.m.-4 p.m. Make a toy boat in the Maritime History Hall with sessions starting on the half hour. $2 donation requested. Museum admission required. Great Book Giveaway: Saturday, March 25th from 3 p.m.-4:30 p.m. Children’s Aid, Inc.is a children’s charity based in Calvert County. They will be celebrating National Reading Month with their annual Great Book Giveaway. This family event will include story time, free books, refreshments and fun photo props.
